My group and I had a wonderful 4-night stay here, primarily to explore the vibrant Ximending shopping area. The amenities were impressive, particularly the self-serve accessory bar in the lobby for those little essentials you might forget. The cleanliness and comfort of our Comfort Twin Room made our time relaxing after busy days out. Plus, having easy access to public transport was a huge plus for our adventures around the city!

The rooms feature a spacious layout that can accommodate families comfortably. The area is vibrant and steeped in local culture, perfect for exploring nearby attractions.

The hotel fell short on several fronts. Despite a request to combine beds for a family, it remained an unfulfilled expectation. Check-in was delayed, receiving the room at 3:30 PM after inquiring for early access. They clean rooms every other day, which is unusual for a hotel of this rating—I found hairs and dirt from previous guests after the second cleaning. The breakfast options were extremely repetitive and served lukewarm, lacking in variety and quality. Coffee from the machine didn’t cut it either.

The lobby was fine and cute, with comfortable seating areas and complimentary coffee and tea available. My Comfort Twin Room was well-designed with ample space to relax and a separate area for dining while enjoying the city view. The location was excellent, just a short walk from vibrant shopping and dining options in the neighborhood.

Staying in the twin room was pretty comfy! The interior felt fresh since the hotel is new. It was spacious enough for family time. Housekeeping did a decent job, but cleaning every other day felt off. we found some leftover hairs after the second clean. Plus, it was great having a relaxing area on the 6th floor with free coffee and water. Just wish the room service could be a bit more frequent.

Conveniently located close to Ximen Station, the hotel offers a fresh, modern atmosphere. The staff were attentive, and I enjoyed complimentary coffee in the lobby. Highly recommended!

great location with spacious rooms

The location was fantastic, with a plethora of food choices just a few steps away. I really appreciated the cleanliness, especially in the rooms that had a modern feel and offered a beautiful view of the city. Additionally, the team was always friendly, creating a warm atmosphere as I came and went.

The only downside was the infrequent housekeeping schedule, which I found a bit unusual.

i loved my stay at solaria nishitetsu hotel taipei ximen! the location is perfect, right next to the bustling shopping area of ximending. the hotel lobby has a cozy drinks bar where i enjoyed sipping coffee while relaxing. additionally, the cleanliness was impressive, and having the self cloakroom feature was a huge plus for storing luggage after checkout.
